The works coloured car is Tony Fall, the orange (110 red!) one is ME!
Hoping to find some action shots eventually. There is one on the HRCR website (Club News section) but it is very small.

It was a great day with fantastic weather!
I don't think they had had such crowds of spectators at Lydden for years, if ever!
Here is a pic of all of the drivers in the 40th Anniversary event + John Taylor, Rallycross legend and the first ever European Rallycross Champion.
The guy in the blue and white, with glasses is Roy Edwards who sponsored the event. He took part in the original rallycross in Feb 1967 and still drives his Mk 1 Escorts indecently fast in rallys and rallycross at the age of 74!

Saw that as it was getting passed round and signed, was also in the ton hire tent for the presentations as my dad was invited because he was there at the start of the rallycrossing in the late sixties. Was an excellent day, do you know if they're going to do any other historic races there?

There was a parade of classic cars but no rallycross specials.
I believe that they had the '83 Xtrac Escort on the BRDA stand at Race Retro but I did not make it to the show.
