Z32 NA manifolds

The only Z32 manifolds that you will be sure are going to fit will be those sourced from a Japanese home market source. Headers designed for sale in the LHD markets will generally foul on the RHD steering column. It's not the end of the world - you can beat the offending tube with a big hammer, or cut and weld to reshape, and all will be well. There are several successfully converted cars in the UK with LHD headers - it just requires a bit more effort.

I had the same thing recently with 350Z headers, took a chance and happened upon a set which fitted with no mods - you might be lucky with the advertised Z32 ones, but I can't make your link work to have a look...

Scotty if yer not in any great hurry, I am at long last getting somewhere with this project.
Mike is right the ebay UK ones are in fact produced for the LHD market, but will fit with some help from a hammer  more importantly though are 2 aspects of these, 1) is the quality, trust me they look good but as fabrications of parts that take a certain amount of heat/stress, they are crap  2) and more importantly, having purchased 2 sets so far from ebay for testing, both sets were NOT equal length runners, which kinda defeats the object!
So anyways, I have an N/A guy all lined up to visit a company who specialise in making manifolds for many many companies, these will be made on the car, equal length, ALL stainless construction including flanges and bosses ( unlike ebay ones) and flow tested to prove their worth.
Downside for having these RHD made manifolds in the highest quality AND with a lifetime gaurantee, is the cost, they will be around 400 quid, alot of cash compared to ebay ones, but certainly you WILL get what you pay for, also as far as am aware they will be the only ones available anywhere that are RHD specific and quality
Mike if yer reading this, I still have a set of 350Z RHD headers unused and bought in error if you know anyone who wants em :)
cheers

Hi scotty, hope your well mate. I have seen the headers that Smithy mentioned and I agree they look nice but being shiney just isnt good enough. I have also fitted Stillen headers to mine which needed the hammer treatment and were never right. If you can wait a little longer for these to be sorted it will be worth the wait. ;)

Thanks for all the replys guys.

Smithy, i'm not in any great rush bud. I've just finished having all those suspension parts fitted (WOW! the difference is unbelievable. Thanks again! ) and i'm just swithering over what area to tackle next. My rear sections are knackered so i will be having a custom cat back fitted, along with the de-cats that have been in my garage for almost a year. I just thought it would be handy to have the lot done at once.I'll certainly keep my eye on your progress though. Keep me posted!

Suffolk, hows things bud? Still flying the NA flag i hope. :D Whats the latest on 'britains fastest NA 1/4 mile'? I've been very quiet this year, but i hope to be at some shows next year with the zed better than ever.
