Sure its not the water pump?

This is a pic taken from a guy on Zcar.com called CHOWC, I think he found his overheating problem. Just goes to show a water pump isn't good just because it doesn't leak.

steve to save even more weight drive your car down the strip in the buff take all the seats out dash wiring loom and that great hunk of metal that your carbs attach to that should do the trick !!

Don't run a radiator or water pump at all. Cooling fins on the engine and start it on the line, run for 13 seconds, stop the engine.
