Z bumper sets in stainless steel

Following our association with Group Harrington in getting 240Z / 260Z bumpers manufactured in stainless steel, I'm pleased to be able to invite orders for the first batch - for the initial shipment I'm looking to put together a minimum of six sets for air shipping or, for an even better price, ten sets for surface shipping.

I have five firm orders at present, so only one more required for air shipment. Price will be £650 including shipping to the UK, duties and VAT paid. The downside is that I will need the money pre-paid (bank transfer, personal cheque or cash).

If we had a sudden influx (and you are prepared to wait for the longer shipping time) then the ten set price would fall to £600 a set - details as above.

Note that the retail price for single sets shipped anywhere in the world thereafter will be £750.

They also have patterns for the 260Z 2+2 rear bumper, but haven't made any yet. If you want a 2+2 bumper, there may be an element of development risk...

These bumpers are formed from quality stainless steel and polished to a high lustre finish on all visible surfaces (unlike the c**p chrome on the Nissan originals). The inner surfaces are primed and painted in matt black. All four rubber strips and all attachment bolts are included. The rubber strips alone would be nearly £200 from Nissan now...
Those who have seen the prototype sets will vouch for the show quality appearance of these items.

Call 01277 374201 to discuss.

Are these suitable for euro and USA 240Zs of all years ? Will they fit on 260Z two seaters (and 280Zs) ?

I might be interested in the 2+2 development as there are so many more of them over here - you could email me details........please.

These will fit all S30 models using the appropriate European spec. mounting bars - fronts all the same, rears differ between 240Z and 260Z. These are not supplied with the bumpers.
2+2 set would be supplied as made to the pattern parts shipped out to Harrington. The recipient would test fit and report and then any corrections required (there may be none!) would be made by Harrington at no extra charge. The only problem would be the potential delay involved.

Pardon me but I don't see the benefit of participating in a development programme........and only to have a later delivery..........

And if I may suggest something, it might be more commerial to include the bumper brackets so peeps fitting their new bumpers could simply remove the old stuff and fit the new - just mho.

Likely that 2+2 bumpers won't get made unless someone helps out - as has been the case with U.K. members helping get the 2 seater versions correct. Thanks to all concerned by the way!
By all means wait and let someone else do it, then you can buy a set or sets for the full price of £750. Participating at this point has a potential saving of £100 - £150 for a few weeks of inconvenience - which possibly wouldn't even happen.
The front and rear bumper brackets are already available as repros should they be required...

a) you didn't mention any reduction
b) based upon the 240 ones above, they'd be the almost the same price (£650)
c) if they took off and an order of ten was obtained (especially with help from the hundreds of 2+2s over here) they'd be the same price (£600)

Why not mention the price of the repro brackets ?

No, I still don't see any financial advantage to any member here to help out Harrigntons sell more bumpers !

Pretty unlikely don't you think...also, this shipment is an introductory special offer. I've never suggested that we keep on making the offer.

We should talk privately about this - give me a call...

Front bumper brackets are £29.95 + VAT each; 240Z rears £20.25 + VAT each (repro items). If supplied with the bumpers they add over £100 to the price. Front brackets would only need replacing if accident damaged. 240Z rears are easy to fabricate by the fitters / owners. When the bumper manufacturers only want to provide boxed sets, why add another £100 to the cost without good reason?

Out of respect to you and your thread - I'll reply by email and you can call ME if you want to pursue further, 'cos I don't have the benefit of cheap calls from my mobile :) !

I have a pair and can vouch for the fit and finish.

The rear is without number plate up-light, so looks much neater and the front loses some of the additional holes where indicators fit.

....and no ripples or bumps that you'd find on a re-chromed one.

Highly recommended
