I am looking for an online Factory Service Manual for my newly aquired 1986 300ZX 5 speed non turbo.

Thanks in advance from a new member !

Thats nioce, thanks! the xenon site worked fine!

It's worth noting that the factory manual downloads from the Xenon site are for North American market cars.

Very useful for general reference, but there are many detail differences between the North American market cars and all other markets. So, even an HLS30-prefixed original Netherlands market car will have a great number of differences to those listed in the North American market FSM.

User beware.

Not specifically for the UK market HS30-prefixed models, as far as I'm aware.

They did make a full FSM for the UK & 'European' market RS30 and RLS30-prefixed models, which is pretty much essential for accurate data on those cars.

Most of my cars are Japanese market models, so I use the Japanese market manuals and parts lists which have all the correct data for the cars in them. Even then you have to be very careful about applied models / variants, production date differences and supersessions.

The factory parts lists are really helpful actually. If you use a combination of the North American market FSMs, the North American, Japanese and UK/Euro/Aus/NZ parts lists and the Japanese 'Service Shuho' booklets and factory parts lists, you can usually find out what you need to know one way or another......

The point I was making about the xenon site's manuals was that if someone like the original poster downloads one of the "240Z" files from that site, and happily notes that it covers 'HLS30' prefixed cars, then he will at some point be led astray. It will not give him the full and correct data about an original Netherlands market HLS30-prefixed '240Z'.

Thanks for that, detailed as ever.

As mines an RS30 pre-fix I will keep my eye out for a UK FSM, not come accross one on ebay yet.

Hi Jonathan,

Hi, I have just brought a 2002/2003 350Z Track Edition Nismo. Is there a Manual availble for this car? I think it might be an American Import? I did have a 300 ZX T/T which I sold a couple of years ago. Thanks Jan
