Windscreen wipers

The windscreen wipers on my 260 are crap ! They lift off at speed and become useless.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to rectify this ??
I know modern car wiper blades have little spoilers on them, but I can't find any to fit my car. HELP &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

It is interesting how the elevating wiper arms on a Z illustrate what a good area of high pressure is generated at the base of the windscreen. Whilst not good for wiper performance it could be utilised as a cowl induction source for forcing air into the engine compartment.....

This babble means I don't have a current source for good looking (non-Harry Moss) wiper arm aerofoils either. Most of the current market seems to be saturated with coloured anodised versions for hot hatches.

Try creeping up on a 280ZX and nicking the wipers. I have a pair from this source with aerofoils on them that are screwed through the arm. They look as if they were an original spec item. But I dont suppose they are.
PS I also have one spare! Whats it worth?<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>?

The UK spec 280ZX has an aerofoil on the driver's side arm only. This screws on through holes drilled in the arm. A 280ZX wiper arm isn't suitable for a 240Z or a 260Z, so you would have to drill the holes to fit the 280ZX aerofoil on. Nick two to complete the set-up on your Z! Don't forget to keep the screws - Nissan probably want a couple of quid each for them!
