windscreen seal

I have just noticed with all this hot weather the seal around the windscreen of my 78 260Z is crumbling away. Would a windscreen repairer be able to replace this or would I have to source the part from a z specialist?

Universal windscreen seals are not available to fit to 240/260Zs. New one available from any Nissan dealer who can be bothered to look it up and order it, or alternatively from MJP Eastern auto(link on this site). Nissan seal is not cheap.  third source is a pattern seal from the Z specialists in US. But high shipping costs,duty and handling fees push up the price.And many of our Amercan friends are a little laid back when it comes to despatching small orders!!

We stock the pattern seals as well as original Nissan, but most customers seem to prefer to pay the price of the original! Always in stock (except 2+2 260Z which is arriving as pattern only very shortly - this week probably - as Nissan don't do this one any more&#33<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>.
