I don't know yet until the car is settled with all the bits in. It's a very small adjustment and an even bigger pain to get to adjust it.how much do you need?
I would place a shim on top just to be safe. With the top mounts you have you increase the stress on the tower due to it lacking any damping. The stock top mounts use rubber bushings to lessen the impact, your coil overs are solid mounted.
Will this be strong enough?
I have the T3 bolt in top mounts with my BCs.
You still have to cut the towers a bit, but it's easier than a set of weld ins. Another option.
I used the T3 upper hats. With the needle roller bearings on top for the front.Side question, did you use the T3 camber plate upper hats with your BC's or do they mount fine with the appropriate hardware?
I’m using stock BC hardware, pillowball I think they call it, they seem absolutely fine unless you’ve got the money burning a hole in your pocket. I’ve also enlarged the top to get at the adjusters and sandwiched it with one of Sean’s strut braces.Side question, did you use the T3 camber plate upper hats with your BC's or do they mount fine with the appropriate hardware?
