visitor messages

i have just found my 'visitor messages' with 5 messages i did not know i had.
should i get an email when someone posts or do you have to check it yourself ??

Erm, i think it's something you have to check yourself.

You should send youself a visitor message telling visitors that if it's important, to send you a PM instead.

Ahhh yes,

where you see Private Messages when you log in, this should change to Notifications with a drop down box to advise of new messages.

There is probably an option somewhere in your usercp you can set to turn on different notifications

i know you can set pop ups for Pms, can you do this for other notifications?

i had a look today and in my notifications your message did show up Nidge ,its the first time i noticed anything there,i thought it was just for PM's

I'll try to make it more noticeable, I often don't spot it myself
