I wondered what tyres members, are using on there Zeds to give the best grip in the wet, as I'm changing my rear tyres soon and would like some ideas on what to buy.

Thanks

I recently fitted a full set of Yokohama AVS sports. They have one of those fancy tread patterns that look like they squish the water out of the grooves.
They are very good in the wet, they'll carve through standing water without you even noticing. Only thing is, they don't come smaller than a 16".
Oh, and they look the dogs danglies &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

The best tyres I ever ran on the road were Continental sport contacts and I beat the pants off other cars running the yoko and other trick tyres. That was when i was using the car for road and sprints and hillclimbs. They were a lot cheaper and come in all sizes. hope this helps &nbsp; ben

Hi,
I don't know what size of tyre you're looking for, but when I had my Z32 I found that Bridgestone SO2's were the grippiest tyre both wet and dry!...that I'd ever tried.
They weren't the cheapest tyre and have now been superceded by a newer type, but the grip in the wet was better than some makes' are in the dry!

In the tyre reviews I have read in various performance car mags it seems to come down to either Goodyear Eagle F1's or Bridgestone SO2's. &nbsp; Both pricey, but quality costs...
