Hi guys , not been around for a while(new bike lured me away). the time has come to FINALLY get the Kaminari up & running.
so, some questions, i bought a janspeed turbo & box of bits about a year ago, the turbo is on, with the nice shiney stainless link pipe. i need to source some sort of tubing/rubber pipe to connect it to the throttle body & turbo-any ideas ?
also do i need to fit the air flow meter? & if not what do i do with the multi pin connector that orig fitted to it?
i've just about figured the wiring for the two pressure switches & extra injectors. the ignition retard unit looks simple enough to fit, as does the fuel pressure equalizer thingy.
the pop off valve/waste gate that came with the turbo is adjustable, but looks its age.one of the young mechanics next door suggested i get rid & fit a more efficient dump valve as this will save the turbo long term-is this going to upset the apple cart?
all answers GREATFULLY recieved-& please remember i'm a painter , not a mechanic, so no tech talk, keep it simple thanks!
