Hi all DVD racers

sorry i cant be much use when it comes to positions all i know is that i came last 1st run and 2nd last on 2nd run and DJZ was behind me on that run:D i have re-arranged the list to take into account my positions. and yes mine was the only auto there.

Sorry I can't add any more. I know that Gio and JC were in front of me (but couldn't tell from in-car who was winning, so had to see the vid to put Gio in #1), and the rest were behind me (sorry!). When I saw the vid it was Gio, JC, Me and then... I don't know. Sorry folks but that's all I saw.

DJZ: thought I had more pics of you, and less of Tony (both gorgeous cars tho, so no loss ;)). The out-the-window pics are when we were trundling back to base, so you're right, no serious over-taking was happening :p Likewise, the shot of me trailing you down the runway was on a return journey (thanks Suzy, nice pic!).

Neil's ordering rings true to me, but I guess we'll see what status' and Geoff's take on things is :)
 
Hi,Baby Ice,I am giving everyone a chance, choice to correct running order on both take's If youre not happy with anything put your version in that's what this thread is for,& about.
As you know it's a joint venture & henceforth,input from all that were there is important.
I,m not bothered where I came anymore,I had a great time,& meeting you lot made it great.
Don't worry about pic's of one car or another it doesnt matter,
as lot's of people took pic's including myself.
So as mentioned previously don't be shy,youre one of us and
correct order so we're all content.
I'll ring Status in the U.S.A in a moment & come back with feedback, Your car's nice too by the way..............DJZ 60.

Hmm, more gossip! Only a little though...
Ian Brown called me today, because he couldn't get through to Suzy (last resort lol), asking if it was fair to describe the 260 as "a 70s car".. I dunno much about the older gens (or, um, the newer ones, come to think of it), but I said yes - hope that's right and my head isn't more muddled than I thought :S Jeez, I'm ignorant :/

Anyway, I guess maybe they're concentrating on the fact that Tony's 260 still gave the 350 a run for its money, rather than boost-leakin' Gio nuking it twice over... Either that or they wanted to choose appropriate soundtrack music *cue Bee Gees* :p

they'll take the mickey as I had coil failing on second take.
Ian,also wanted 'DvD racer's' address so he could send our
free complimentary copie's of Jeremy Clarkson's DVD.
Gio's car's Lethal,Do you think they will edit bit's & bob's in their own favoured way? They've got me & Status having problem's on one take,& Tony going like a bat out of hell.
I noted,they only had camera's in John-boy & Status's car's,so either they are poor or they were expecting the 240z to thrash the 350z......Ice can I have your autograph???

I wouldn't have thought they'll make a big deal of any problems we had on the day - they seemd like nice chaps, and the point of the DVD is to show old cars can be as good as new uns, if not better. Plus, think about it, they had TVRs the day after us - how many breakdowns they gonna have then? :p

We get free copies of the DVD?! :eek: Nice! Well, he didn't ask me for my addy, so maybe it's just for the *big* stars :p I'm looking fwd to seeing it out :)
As for Gio's beast - having turbos certainly seems to help, huh? ;)... Like Neil, I've now got the bug to squeeze more power out of what I have, once finances allow.. *sigh*
