Spring or shock

I have noticed recently that my car tilts to the right on the rear end wondered what the possibilities were of the spring losing its spring as it were, or could it be the shock absorber. I have tested the shock on the car by bouncing the car and it seems to be doing its job (not bouncing up and down like a bowl of jelly) and i have got under the car and on the left side i can get my finger between the spring coils but i cant on the right side, any ideas or have i already solved the problem!

Hi Neil the springs control ride height the shocks control rebound/ damping so it's the spring you need to look at. hope this helps try measuring from rear wheel centre to wheel arch lip and compare readings

theres about 1" difference between both sides so i guess its a new set of springs
