Bought a coupé. :D

Brand new, Night Blue, non-GT but with the Nismo kit.

Should tide me over until the 370Z is available.

Gizmo, any pictures?

How does it compare with your previous motor to drive.

Do you miss the soft-top and is boot space better or worse on the Roadster?

I've uploaded some pictures from Duxford here but haven't got round to captions yet. The first two are the new motor, pre-Nismo stickers.

Don't miss the soft top that much, especially now that the weather is getting hotter and my collection of silly is no longer needed to drive anywhere. ;)

Boot is massive compared to the roadster - I had a coupé before the roadster so I already knew that. :)

Don't want to pass too much of a judgement on the engine before it's run in, but down low it feels massively quicker than the roadster (which had the rev up engine with more horses but less torques). That may be partly down to to the 80kg weight saving compared to the ragtop of course.

The most noticable difference is how utterly solid it feels - having gone from a coupé to the roadster and back I didn't think it would be quite so night and day!

Lovely a night blue. Limited colour too! The 2007's are a bit heavier than earlier models, but a bit more bhp. Will be interesting to hear your comments about the slightly less torque as comparison to the older models. No stopping when it's starting to rain. ;)

As you say, quite a noticeable difference in the tortonial rigidity of the chassis too.

Enjoy.
