Servo Question/Rubber reaction disc)

So I've fitted my new master cylinder, machined down the rod about the size of the spacer. All fitted together.

Went to connect the brake pedal back up and it's seated position now appears to be about 3/4" lower. (The brake light would permanently be on) Is this likely to be due to the "rubber reaction disk"? If not any idea what the problem is?

The rob that pushes the master cylinder is seated back as far as it goes if it makes any difference.

Cheers,

Wes

Never mind. I'm 99% certain that's the problem. My next question will be can I fish it out without removing the servo!

Possible if you prise out the rod seal first but in the long run it would be quicker to remove the servo after faffing aroound and you've got to position back in its' seat which will be much simpler with the servo on your bench.
