S14 box on eBay

Hi guys, I'm in the first stages of trying to figure out gearbox options for my 240 and noticed this on eBay

Way too expensive imo! Should be about half of that for a used box...

You should be £450ish for a good s14 box(c type gearbox).

As I’ve said before, many times, even 450 is upper end IMO. I have three 71C boxes and didn’t pay more than £300 for any of them. In fact, the really good S14A box in my red Z cost only £150 (although that was rather fluke-y!).

Anything above 400-450 is getting steep really.
