Repairing rubber mats

When imported my 240z came with these mats which look to be originals ... (probably another dealer extra back in the day?) - anyway, one of these is quite badly torn in a couple of places. Does anyone know apart from sticking some gaffer tape on the back, whether it is possible to somehow fuse the two bits together again - some kind of rubber welding as it were?

I'm not for one minute thinking of a home-grown solution but companies who do this kind of thing - do they exist. Any other mats than the originals (I presume they are) and I wouldn't bother of course!

Just a thought, but you could try some of the rubber repair tape designed for patching pond liners.
Maybe use that on the back and then try some super glue on the front

I did see a secondhand one (correct side for me) on MSA. It was either 50 or 70 dollars from memory ...
