Rear wheel Bearing?

I may have a loose rear wheel bearing, any ideas the best way to check and how much play (if any) is acceptable?

Similar question for the inner front upper suspension arm pin/bush, how do I check and how much play is acceptable?

0.05mm end play (0.0020") is the max. acceptable for rear wheel bearing, i.e. i fyou can feel it on rocking it's too much. When driving the hub may growl or drone and when spinningwith wheel jacked up, you may feel the bearing grabbing roughly. Not just a matter of nipping it up a bit tighter either. Bearing is supplied integral with a section of the hub to be replaced as an assembly. Check condition of the outer wheel hub itself as well - any wear here and this will need to be replaced too.

Upper link free movement may be subject to some debate - no movement is acceptable in the ideal world, but I think several mm are permissable for MOT test purposes...
