rear suspension frames

Hi,

I was wondering if the rear suspension frames are reversible for a 240z, as in using the driver side arm for the passanger side? my first instinct is that they are not, but they look similar from above and below.

Any suggestions?

Yes, are...on a S30, on one side of the car, the rear suspension frames has the flat side facing down, and on the other side the flat side faces up...so they can swapped....I
 
Left and right are the same part. Nissan made them fit both left and right to save money on manufacturing.

They look 'odd' on the car, but that's the way they came from the factory....... Still work the same, so no problems.
 
If you need to source some, try and find the later style as fitted to our 260Z's.
They have a bit more "meat" to them.
