Can anyone help me? My radio aerial does not go up or down when I use the radio although I can hear the motor trying to do it's job. Is there a simple cure or is it expensive?

The antenna rod and plastic inner is available as a repair part, but fitting is a dirty and frustrating experience! Call - I have stock...

By the way, I don't think I thanked you for the help with my noisy gearbox. It was just as you said, I took it back to the seller who refitted the two rubber 'grommets' around the gear lever properly (they were not even loosely fitted, just placed there) and...low and behold...the noises disappeared. I still can't work out why your remedy worked but it did. Perhaps the noise is still there but now I can't hear it through the properly fitted grommets.
