r230 rear diff conversion

ive got my self a vlsd from a 300zx i think its a r230 it has 6 bolt output shafts, has anyone on here fitted one and what are they like compared to the r200? and also am i right in saying that i need 4 halfshafts from a 300zx for the inner cv joints?????
