Pipeline Card - Fuel Discount Scheme

I reg'd ages ago, I get regular email updates, I hope it takes off.

I caught the tail end (ok tip!!) of an article about this on the news yesterday so can't really offer much more insight. In teory I can't see why it wouldn't work. It's a shame they don't say which oil company they've negotiated with yet. And a bit amusing that the founders name is Ben Scammell ;)

Think I'll go sign up anyway.

Yeah - thinks it's genuine enough........just a bit sceptical why a major oil company would want to offer discounted fuel through a third party. Surely it could do that directly itself, couldn't it?

Yeh we've all signed up at work, but I always buy my petrol at the lorry stop because the guys in there are always cheery and friendly, and remember who you are, they even ask how my car is running. The place is private, and it looks like it needs the business so I use it, and if it costs an extra £5 a tank it's not a great deal for the miles I do and it's near my house.

Anyway I'm not sure what my point was there, something to do with them probably not getting in on the scheme. :)
