...noticed some people do the above......just wondered wot the advantages are and how its done etc..

Adrainfr noted my spark was a bit plop, so I've improved it with a zx coil and had it all tested by a pukka mechanic. Spark def OK now but he found the diaphargm ferked in dizzy and potential prob with SU's.....

Dont worry, will not try joining 2 coils together unless that voice in my head tell me to!

You can't piggy back 2 coils unless you mean to fit another one already wired up so that you just swop over the HT lead if one fails.

Not sure what diaphragm your'e referring to unless you mean the external one for the advance/retard, in which case I have a spare one for the 280zx dizzy.

YES i do mean that one.....my mechanic MAy (may) have a spare but i'd prefer to put one in his hand!....how much Nigel?..PM me if you like cheers, Si
