Hi George.
I used to own a BMW 2800cs same shape,without the skirts,etc
this was my 2nd car,my first being a Spike Anderson Z .Both cars were,
on the road,when I was about 19.
The Bmw was quality,wooden dash,elec windows,pas,etc & this was a 1970 motor. DJZ 60.

Oh BTW MR.G
The BMW 2800cs was almost identical to the 3 litre light
weight but was more of a street/sales rep type of car. very comfortable,
amazing torque & 0-60 performance.
The reason I sold it,was due to parts.damned expensive
parts 4x price of the Datsun/Nissan cars. Both the cars were head turners & once ,whilst out shopping..(trolly full of Benson's) & on returning to my parking space....There were approximatly 20+ plus people
admiring the 2800cs. reminiscences... DJZ 60.

I alway's wanted a 'Lancia Monte Carlos' The So called 'pilots car'
but missed out on one which sold 2 minutes before I returned with cash.
I then spent the cash on a 2 seater Jensen, with change left for more
Bensons. DJZ 60.
