new solved button added to the technical section

There has been a solved button now added for any one who asks a question on here so that people who may have the same query will know that the answer has been solved ( this applies to the Tech section only)
The "mark this thread solved" button is in thread tools at the top of the thread and it would be a great help if the original poster clicked on this if their question has been successfully answered

Err not sure I should post this after last time, but...:)

Doesn't seem to show for me Steve. Is it only the original poster that sees it? (like the edit button)

On another point, I notice that we have two sections for Steering. It is covered in Suspension, Brakes an Steering and then again with its own section.

Could I make the suggestion that it is changed to wheels and tyres as we seem to get quite a few queries on what will fit etc.

I reckon this should be a well used section, and if we change it before anything is posted there...

Seems it is that dodgy pc of yours

As when I had a look it seems that there is only one sub section on steering and another sub section on wheels and tyres LOL

That's it Burnsie try and confuse me even more than I am already:D:D:lol:

If it wasn't for the fact that I ended up copying the post to the clipboard to go and check it on IE6 and my laptop....... Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you.:)

Would be nice to try and get few posts there now with what wheels and tyres will fit.

I must try and find my guide to wheel offsets that Weller wheels gave out at one of our club nights so I can try and work out what positive and negative offsets do, and maybe scan and post it up.

Anyway you didn't answer the question about the solved button... I reckon that as I said before it only shows for the original poster (and admin?) but it could of course be my dodgy PC.

Just logged in as you and you are correct that only the original poster (and admin? for when I did a test post in your name it came up that you would be able to see the solved button
so maybe a reprieve on the dodgy PC:rolleyes:

The solved button should really only be available to the original thread poster as it's their query. Admin rights will obviously allow for it too which is why committee folk are not always the best for big testing. Steve, it may be worth creating a basic web user account called 'bug tester' just for this very purpose.
