Welcome, Richardd - damn fine choice.

1st useful do - join this club! Great mag as well. Membership link is off front page of the site.

2nd useful do - have a look through the posts in the Z32 bit of this site. That's what your car is - a Z32.

3rd useful do - there's a great compilation site of links and articles from all round the world which can be found at www.300zx.org.uk

4th useful do - if you ever need parts visit www.mjpauto.com which is run by Mike Feeney who you will sport lurking around here from time to time.

Don't crash, don't get rid of it, don't run it on leaded, don't speed in a built-up area, don't sleep in the subway and don't bogart that.....  Sorry, where was I?

Anyway welcome again - have fun - Gio <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

With a non-turbo, you've automatically lost one of the big worries and that's of the turbos going! <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Ok, my list to add to Gio's :

Do shop around for insurance - in many case a Jap N/A is more expensive to insure than a UK TT

Do service and maintain your car regularly. &nbsp;A bit of TLC can keep these cars running sweet for many years.

Do remember that it is a gorgeous looking car, so don't get confused by people staring at you. <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Do start to save as much money as you can because Mod Street is just round the corner. <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Do congratulate yourself on a fine choice of automobile

Do, if you want to, get to know about the car and its workings - will save you money if you fix odd bits yourself.

Do check when the cambelt was last changed - if unknown - do it now. &nbsp;New engines are not cheap.

S'about all I can think of for now. <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Meanwhile, do have fun! <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Never open the bonnet in close proximity to any other Z32 owners on this forum cos they will soon talk you into spending thousands of pounds on sillycone hoses, polished plenum chambers and bits of kevlar to fix everywhere!!! Not to mention astronomical extra amounts on replacement wheels, tyres, light pods, extra gauges etc.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But do come to Billing and you will see what a mad crowd they are!!
PS dont forget to fill in the flying pigs questionnaires!! <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
