'New' Front engine casing L series

It is listed as 'New'. Current buy out price is £97 + shipping (which may be expensive?)

Just though I would point it out, it may be of interest, can't be many of these 'New', unless I am missing something?

I’ve seen scouring on the water pump faces and on mine one of the dowel holes down near the oil pump had been snapped of and taken a bit of case with it, I had to get a replacement off Sean D.

They do degrade/oxidise; I have one lying around that will need TIG welding or chucking as one of the threaded holes/bosses has crumbled away. Came off Dixie’s factory engine I think.
