Leaking Master Cylinder

After having no luck obtaining a second hand master cylinder I had nothing to lose by attempting to seal the leak using liquid metal which to seems to have worked

Question is as I have stopped the leak externally whats the opinion of the internals now as Im unsure whats behind the area it was leaking from (if that makes sense...lol) Basically the leak was coming from the front bung of the cylinder but everyone I have spoken to says its the first they have heard of leaking from that point.

Opinions are very welcome.

I got my master slave cylinder replaced at nissan... approx. $400. I know thats not what you asked, but if you were curious that's how much it would be with labor. I think the part itself was bout $150
