A nice sunny day spent cutting welding and grinding...I know its not as it should be but I just want to make sure all the rust has gone and clean metal is in its place.
The rad support panel had been cut and welded a few times in it's past so I decided to cut it out below the top bar, I will make my own brackets to hold the Rad and IC

Here is my Intercooler I'm going to convert to a charge cooler. It an garret AiResearch cooler, apparently used on Zakspeed capri turbo's in the 80's. The charge face area is 13" x 7" vertical core. Problem being it's probably too thick for the outside air to get through without some serious ram air setup

nos is a temporary fix in my eyes, why use nos when you can have the power all the time with no refills?
Not that I have ever driven a car with nos, is it all or nothing or can you have progressive increments? how long does a bottle last and how much does it cost to refill?

You Genius!

Very nice! What does that gizmo exactly do then? Can it be used with your LC1 to show you the AFR readings? I didn't buy a guage with my LC1 and I am wondering what to get as it would be nice to keep an eye on the readings whilst driving.

Well the LM1 I have already give a AF reading but yes this will give a scrolling readout
In Runtime Ticker-tape mode, the parameters displayed include current engine operation state (cranking, running, etc), enrichments, barometric pressure, engine MAP, coolant and intake air temperature, all computed enrichments, and injector pulsewidth. The automatic scroll mode can be frozen at any time in order to monitor any desired variable. In addition, any monitored parameter which is outside of normal operating conditions will "flash" on the display, alerting the driver of a possible adverse situation in real time.
The configurator mode will allow the user to adjust any of the configuration parameters. This is useful for field-tuning and variable tweaking. It is not designed to replace the PC Configurator for tuning, but allows for simple parameter modification as needed.

It comes in kit form but only takes an hour to put together, link by rs232 to the ecu.

But can it tell you the time as the clock never works in a 240Z :conf2:

nope! it worked when I bought the car. Never even thought about it. The backlight is a different matter altogether :)
