5 Rally British Historic Rally Championship, Mutiny Historic Stages, Nr Builth Wells, Wales. There will be at least two and possibly up to four 240Zs appearing. Details of stages usually published in the previous week’s Motorsport News Magazine.

just to let you know that we have retired the white 240 untill it decides to behave itself so Dee will be sharing my car for the rest of the season at gurston and any other events we can get too.
 
re. Silverstone 5/6 June - due to a very large entry, the '70s Roadsports round which includes the 240Zs may take place on the Friday, 4th June. This was sprung on us at a Cadwell Park drivers' meeting, but was subject to some protest...........phone before travelling!!

Sheffield Festival of Transport is on JUNE 27th at Graves Park in em Sheffield!!

The little band of Heart of England members are going .
The organizers are looking for more cars to attend, so why not come along?
Give Geoff/Linda Price a call on 01922 643385 as soon as possible to get a ticket/entry. Tell them you are going on Heart of England Z group stand.
Then post on here so we can keep a space for you.
For this show we have decided you dont need even to be a Z club member, just a Zed owner.
So get that Zed out and come and join us, we're nice people really!!!
 
Japanese Performance Weekend

Japanese Performance Weekend
The Japanese Performance Weekend is to be held at Santa Pod Raceway on 19th and 20th June. This is a Club based meeting purely for Japanese cars. There will be Club displays, camping facilities available, RWYB competition for all (but including some of the fastest Jap cars in the U.K.), Jet car demos, trade stands, side shows, evening entertainment and more.

The Z Club has arranged a thirty car space in the pits for you to display and use as a base from which you can participate in the RWYB if you wish. This is more than just another RWYB, so don't be afraid to attend just to show. Mark Watkins has promised that the newly rejuvenated RatZ will be there and he hopes to be high up the order of fastest cars.

Entry is £12 per day per person or £25 for the weekend including camping and evening entertainment. Signing-on for RWYB will cost £12 for three runs - remember your driving licence. Kids under 13 free, grandstand seats free. Gates open Saturday 8am.

For entry to the Z Club pit area you will need a Priviliged Vehicle Pass which you can obtain from Mike Feeney beforehand - phone 01277 374201 NOW!
 
Gurston Down hillclimb
next meeting at gurston is 19th and 20th june. practice 830am timed runs 130pm ish. Ken, Dee and Ben will be running on sunday, but only Dee and Ben will be running on saturday. We have a few tickets if they are of interest to anyone.
 
Stawberrys and Steam!!
OK this one is alittle bit off the wall but what the hell!!

I'm running a bar at a Steam and Classic Car Rally near Swindon.
26th and 27th June and if anyone want to come along that would be great. It is called "Strawberries and Steam" beause it is run next to a "pick your own" farm. There is usually 20-25 traction engines as well as cars, bikes, stationary engines, loads of stalls, rides for kids, shire horses.......you get the idea!

Drive to the exhibitors entrance and say you are with Suzy, (at the bar), and come and find me!, Any Zed owner (with car!!!!) will get a free pint!

I drive there every year and only get there by following my nose but it is basically

Junction 15 off the M4 on the A419/420 towards Oxford, follow signs to A420 then pick up AA/RAC/homemade signs to the show.
If anyone can make it I'll post better directions.

Please note slight change to this meeting ; the '70s Roadsports class with the 240Zs is now SUNDAY 27th (not Saturday as previously advertised).

Qualifying is at 10-50am and there are TWO races for the Zs in the afternoon. A 15 minute sprint at 1-00pm and a 20 minute Enduro (!?) with compulsory pit stop which starts at 4-50pm. Good value for your effort in attending at this one!
