Anyone know where to get any of these japanese style bolts from?

Im assuming theyre Japanese, i know phillips do similar ones, infact the rear bolt may be one of those.

The correct ones, without the screw driver slot usually have a number on the head as well

Im gradually swapping all my unstressed(not HT) bolts/nuts/washers etc to Stainless but on the intake
manifold for example where the balance tube bolts on, a non original looking bolt would look a bit odd IMO

In my experience, the original bolts are made out of chocolate. I would change them to something better that looks close to the original. Just my opinion of course.

Often the crosshead fasteners on 1970's Japanese cars and motorcycles are JIS (Japanese International Standard) and will be damaged using a Phillips/Pozidriv screwdriver (which is why they are generally disfigured when they are removed or re-installed). The JIS heads are normally identifiable by a small dimple adjacent one of the slots. The JIS screwdriver can be used on Phillips heads though.

Try late modern Japanese/Korean cars in your local breakers yards, but strangely not normally Nissan
Best place to look is under the dash or inside the doors as most are still like new as have never been touched
I got my replacement cross head bolts and assorted screws etc by doing just that
Can save a lot of cash that way and still have it "looking" factory fitted

I like the newish jap style nuts and bolts with integrated washer. I took as many as I could off the toyota soarer before it went to the scrapyard.

These are a Nissan standard.
I have these type of bolts all around my workshop!
All came from either; Primera, Micra, Skyline or the Z!

These just arrived from RS - not only Japanese style but made there too. Worked out at 54p each though.

Have you tried Mike at MJP Auto? He can get them or has done in the past. He is moving house so best try him next month.
