Can anyone point me in the right direction for insurance, I've had loads of general suggestions, and spent hours on the phone, I'm now beginning to rip my hair out.
My car is SWB 2 seater jap import, 1991 non turbo, auto.
I'm 34, clean licence, want social, domestic, pleasure, class 1 business use, expect to do max 12,ooo miles per year.
Car has thatcham cat 2 immobiliser & sophisticated alarm system (not thatcham cat 1 approved though)
I'm telling you all this in case one of you has a similar situation and can point me directly to the right company.
(PS. I'm not prepared to have my alarm ripped out and replaced by cat 1 system by someone who does not know how to dis-assemble my cars trim and will make a complete arse of the installation, as all so called professional installers I have ever dealt with do!! and before any alarm people come back at me on that one, I'm an electrical engineer and know what I'm talking about! Neither am I prepared to subscribe to a tracker device, so insurance companies insisting on the above can s*d Off!!
