I knew I would get you in here;) ;) ;)
My wippers are shot and in this rainy saison it's a bit of a pain to drive without really seing trough my windshield! Yet all I am thinking about is to improve the car, engine... coils... and don't give a dime on one improvement that would take me out of the "clio' league in the wet :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
Need to replace them, but this is the less entertaining project so far !!!!

Bommer, soon less blind... it will be safe to cross the street in front of me soon again:)
 
Wippers - Awesome Boomer, you guys do incredibly well at writing in English I am seriously impressed but occasionaly the odd spelling mistook makes me smile :D

Very valid point though - I remember my 260 Samuri - had the engine done but the suspension and brakes seemed less glamourous than going fast. 100MPH to 0 in a hurry, start again........ no brakes for a minute or two until they had cooled down. OUCH.

Incidentally, heated windscreens are available for the Zs now - guess you probably already know but I am having one put in mine to cut down on misting up.
 
Boomer for 5 grand I'll personally wipe your screen as you drive.
I can balance on your roof & do both the front & the back.
(side window's another 2 grand...............................DJZ 60.
 
"heated windscreens are available for the Zs now" - tell me more ! Are the elements visible, where do you 'plug' 'em into, what's the price, and where do you get 'em from ?

As for Boomer and his wondscrein wippers, I thought he was an all weather bike rider - now I know different !

Tell me when the cheque's been exhausted and I'll send you another - bought any 280 2 seater/300ZX Turbo bitz recently ?
 
I've been busy but will check out the 280z 2 seater,if it's still there
it had a lot of work done etc but owner's hard to get a hold of.
Blackbug's looking at Z31's at the moment he's perhap's your best bet, I will keep a lookout though.........DJZ 60.
 
Dominic has a heated screen in his rally car - Laurence who is building my car supplies them - you can see the foil connector either end with a wire coming from it and disappearing neatly behind the dash.......anothe "modernisation" of the classic ...... like brakes that actuallt work these days :D

The cooperative was having a sell-off last month - 18 bottles for the price of 12, worked out at 6 quid a bottle for Grand Cru 2000 !
But my Sunday dinner was eased down with a Canon Fronsac 2002 !

If you guys enjoy your froggy reds, come and visit us, especially when the wine fairs are on in the hyper-markets !

Anyone know where these screens come from and how much ?
