Heater Matrix Replacement

I meant to post this a while ago, but in case useful Pro Alloy in Suffolk have a pretty good 240z replacement alloy heater matrix available.

Yep that is a very fair point.

Unfortunately both of the tanks on mine were badly split so a re-core wasn't really an option for me.

I thought about doing the Ford Escort mod @AliK but the inlet/outlet pipes on a UK spec Escort matrix seem to differ from the US Spec shown int he guide. I'm sure there are other options though, maybe an old mini matrix or something

I used my last good matrix in the orange car I'm currently building so will need an option for the next one.

Ah! Not having done this job (yet!) I didn’t realise the water pipes were handed :(

I wonder if the European LHD suppliers may be able to provide one like the US ones!?

This may be useful (if not on the wrong side again) - especially if you don’t mind or feel confident with a bit of “saudering”! :p

you can get an original re-cored for about £90.
I have been looking for options for a while in Australia. The biggest issue is to get a core, if as you indicate that recoring is 90 pounds, can you please point me in the direction of where I can get the core that is being used?

Thanks, I'm really not keen on forking out the money that ProAlloy or the Brassworks (USA) is asking!

Cheers,
YellowZed
