Toying with investing in a pair of the Harrington ss bumpers, has anyone on here bought some ? if so how would you rate them against the original nissan part ( fit & finish ) ? Oh & before any smart comments I know they won't rust hence the interest in these.

I have a set, still in the box, inspected and excellent.

Waiting for a re-paint before fitting.

See pics of Rob Hughes' 260Z in the current Total Nissan magazine for the appearance of a fitted set.

And get your nose down on the bumper and look along. The conception is great, the effort invested from members here tremendous..........I personally feel thet the finished article is not up to the prototype finish that I saw in the flesh and correspondingly, the price is now on the high side reflecting the level of quality.

I know someone will say "better than nothing" and I agree BUT an open opinion is mine to give, it's not because there exists nothing better that we have to accept 'issues' and I feel that they could make a reasonable effort on the price - in my view, these are not show-quality items and they should and could be.

my bumpers musr be 20 years old or more, looked after they last for ages, depends on the enviroment they are kept, the chrome is still ok but will send them off to south london chrome one day

Thanks for the replies, if the Harringtons had been bob on I would have sold my originals & gone for them. As it is the bumpers I have took me years to get hold of & cost me a fortune. When the time comes I'll do the same as you Status.
