£25 starting bid and £25 postage... for a wheel nut!

I don't think they actually want to sell anything officially through eBay. Common practice for breakers to use an advert like this as a "come on" for the bigger bits. It sort of breaks the rules, but eBay police have to spot it first by which time it will have done its job.
However, I'm sure they would oblige with a £25 wheel nut if anyone were daft enough to place a bid!

When I put my soarer headlights on ebay and mentioned I was breaking the car, it was removed within a few hours and I got a stiff telling off and was told not to do it again.

There are many dismantlers who seem to get away with it for long periods of time - you were unlucky!
