    Don't you mean Mk 3 Escort XR3 ?

It was nearly right, at the time of post I'd just had a large B&J2O, but now I've sobered up & realized they are more like old porker wheels.

They do bear quite a resemblance to the standard telephone dial alloys of the 928.

Still, they look pretty cool in this application. Lovely looking motor.

I think they look pretty neat.

And the ford wheels were more commonly known as "pepperpots" of which there were 4.

Don't ask me why I know this, it's a Ford fetish I a trying to shed. (commonly found on the 1.8GS and 2.0S Capri)

Yes thats what they reminded me of , the 928 is one of my favourite cars of all time.

    Front 17X8.5 with 215/45s
Rear 17X9.5 with 225/45s ... fair bit of stretch. :coolgleam:

To me the look most like the Diablo wheels, being splits:

... but that 928 is pure sex.

I'm going for the period look so hopefully I'm on the right track.

Yep, the age is within a couple o' years so it's all good. I'd get the inners powder coated really glossy black though. That '31 would look like it was designed by the Morning Star. Oh to have a satanic looking Z. Love it!

Looks like you could do with wider tyres!
Have seen the telephone dial wheels on a z32 and they did look quite nice!....Better in black, grey or silver though.

I did consider black centres but a lot of folks have them.

Stretched tyres are just plain cool.

Nice rims make it look great, I have stretch fit tyres too, mainly because I can't get any wider than 225/50/15 on a 9 inch rim... they have to be blast fitted lol...
