It was around this time last year i met Derek Sulley at Luton Airport who gave me a lift (thanks Derek
) to the Calcot hotel in reading for the zclub Christmas do. Must be the wintery weather we're having over here the last few days but been thinking about it quite a bit. Meeting some of you guys and gals , Suzy, Steve, Peter, Don and Sean etc, was a great buzz and a great memory. Steve Burns directions(thanks Steve) guiding me off the m-something to get to Essex to get to Mr. f,'s house,(no sat-nav in those days lol) meeting the legend himself, trying to make it back to fishguard through the snow in time for the ferry , I could go on and on.
It was one of my best weekends ever. The Volvo estate I bought for Adell at the hotel car park is still running great with the Kate Bush CD still in the changer which I listened to for about 13 hours straight , and that Volvo has now become as much of a character in the household as the Z is.
It's Been a strange year for me since then, many things have prevented me to stay in touch on this site and the 300zx site, but it's all for the good. Sorry to go on a bit, but it really was a memorable and brilliant weekend for me . won't be making this year's xmas do (if there is one) but hopefully 2007.
