garrett turbo's . Which country are they manufactured?

There is a garrett factory not very far from me , employs over 1000 people ,and often been curious if they make the ones suited to our cars. I don't know anyone who works there, ...but if I thought they did make them...I think I could aquire some new freinds pretty sharply!

There can't be that many factories around the world.:confused:
 
Mick, surely if there's a factory just up the road from you, then they're manufactured in the same country as you live in?

As I recall there used to be a Garret Normalair factioy at Yeovil which made turbos. Adrian
 
Yes, but garrett make turbos for airplanes and other stuff also. I'm wondering where the specific ones we use are made.....Mr Tony smartypants:)

Yeovil has Westlands and BAE and stuff there, so no doubt for aeronautical use. I am 20 mins from Yeovil though so if it turns out they are a garret place and you need a local to collect/deliver then let me know :)
