Fuse Box Warning

Guys, I know this is covered on the internet but it's worth repeating - check that your fuses are a tight fit in the clips and that it's nice and clean.

I'm overhauling and modifying the wiring on my 240Z and spotted this evidence of overheating. It wasn't obvious when the fuse box was in the car and fuses in place. It's dark in there.

From what I remember of past observations it’s less the fuse and more corrosion between the two halves that are riveted together.

When I get another I'll check the resistance.

It was a headlight feed by the way.

Might be worth checking with a Megger if you have one.
