First UK Road Test!

Hi,
 This weeks Autocar magazine has a full road test of the UK spec 350Z!
 The official figures recorded are:....
 
 Top speed 154mph
 0-60mph in 5.8 secs
 0-100mph in 14.2 secs
 30-70mph in 5.4 secs
 1/4 mile in 14.1 secs

 This puts it at the top of it's peer group for performance, where they gave it a 9 out of ten rating.Overall it was rated as 8/10 and Autocar's preferred choice!

Nice... I'm really looking forward to seeing one (flash of headlights, exchange of cheery waves etc).

Has anyone seen any advertising though? I know they can sell every one they bring in, but are Nissan just too tight fisted to do a TV ad or anything? Are they just relying on word of mouth and enthusiastic Z club peeps to sell their cars?

Committed customers were sent a nice collector's DVD with long and short versions of what looked suspiciously like an arty, black & white advert for the car driving on Scottish roads, all alone, and then a series of stills in a very rough looking garage (contrast smooth pleasure of perfect bodywork against rough brickwork and flaking plaster). Good soundtrack too. You might see this on TV or at the cinema soon.

Also, the free art book has an audio CD with the sounds of the customer's drive to work (or something).
