Hi,
Fifth Gear has started again on channel five this week and is now on for an hour, with a similar format to Top Gear!
The competition this week,is to win an Aston Martin DB7....

hehehe my company makes the name plates for the Astons! I'm trying to wangle a trip down there soon... for marketing reasons of course! ;)
 
5th Gear is rubbish, VBH has gotten old and annoying, its just imitating Top Gear :) Its 30 minutes of adverts as well.

Nice to see it on though, better than the usual Sunday eve rubbish.

Fifth gear does rather focus on the unaffordable, but I do like the cars. Never seen the fascination with VBH myself. She used to write for Max Power - say no more.

Kinda cute though. I don't know many girls who like to get it sideways at 60 mph.

In the first program this series she had bright blonde hair and dodgy dark eye shadow, looked a bit like the grandma off little britain :)

I see that last night they attempted to do 200mph in their Lotus Esprit V8...and failed, or rather the gearbox, clutch and engine did!:D
Why didn't they just buy a cheap Z32 or Skyline or anything Japanese and spend the money on that instead, rather than waste £30k trying to tune up the Lotus?...Surely going to Superchips was a bad idea too!:eek:

I wouldn't mind winning this week's car though!....it's a Honda NSX!

Yeh I've entered for the NSX a few times :)

I've no idea why they chose a Lotus, even a Sierra was more sense.
