Mornin All !!!! I was wondering if it is safe to remove the cat on my 280zx 2+2? I have to replace the pipe and was looking at a straight through....Would this improve or ruin anything performance or economy wise?? Thanks in advance!!!!
No U.K. 280ZX models were fitted with a CAT. The small silencer towards the front of the system is simply an expansion box.
Beware of making a 280ZX exhaust system too low in back pressure on an otherwise unmodified car - loss of performance will result...
