Engine Wiring Loom Removal

Quick question please as my searches have been fruitless.

Pull the loom from the interior into the engine bay, or the other way round?

The former looks easier but I'm not sure if all the connector blocks will fit through?

I did engine bay to interior. I don't think the interior plugs will fit through the bulkhead.

Thanks - thought as much, but wanted to check before I push the grommet through!
