Edelbrock 1405 4 Barrel

Has anyone had any dealings with an Edelbrock 1405 carb on an L24 before?

It's running incredibly rich and i've no idea what jets should be in there.

This weekend i'll have a fiddle with a new fuel pressure regulator and the idle screws however until i get the jets out and confirmed i'm a little blind with this one.

cant see many people on here running a 4 barrel, your best bet would be over on Hybrid Z or an american site I reckon

Thanks Gary, I'll have a look over there for anything. Just downloaded the 1405 manual so have some light reading to do this weekend....

There are endless jets readily available for the Holley 4bbl and they are easily changed. Get a few float bowl gaskets while you are at it. I have some spare jets but they were for much bigger Holleys...
