Just A Couple Of Questions About Having My Ecu Chipped On My Z32 Fairladyturbo.1. How Do I Remove The Ecu From The Car And Where Is It Located. 2. Can I Refit The Ecu And Go Or Is Other Tweaking Required.
 
Hi the chip conversion is the cheaper option but i found the GReady e-manage pigyback a far better option, its worth a look you get far more options and you can reprogram yourself when you change things ie more boost, de cat, filters Nos ect. It has outputs that can triger water injection or you can trim the valve timing change over points. Check it out first
 
o.k but where is the ecu located on the car and are there any problems with removal.


Pass side footwell , behind the plywood panel.

Lack of knowledge on location is the main problem with removal.:eek:
Once you locate it then its very easy!!:D:D
 
Just updated the article on checking ECU codes to include locating the ECU - I thought the description was already in there.
