Door handle rod retaining clip

Hi Guys,
The rod which pushes into the door handle has 2 plastic clips on the end to keep them in the handle. My clips are so old they don't do anything anymore.

Has anyone used anything else or do Nissan still make new ones? Mike?

pop down the scrap yard with a clip you should be able to match them with a modener version

You get new clips on a new door handle, but they are not sold separately...

I've got 2 pristine door handles. The only problem is they don't do anything without the clips!

Ive a plethora of Z31 clips for the interior door mechanisms,,,gimme a photo over a measured rule and i'll see if they match,,,,odds are they do
