Diff questions

Im trying to find information on Diffs etc , Z31 Performance is good , but im trying to find out if any UK Spec z31 ever had a lsd , i have a 88 turbo diff and a 88 n/a diff but i fear neither is a LSD and will probaly end up running a welder for now

Any help would be great

The easy way to tell if you have a LSD from an '88 is if the rear plate on the pumpkin is finned. I have two, one on my car and one on the shelf.

ALL diffs fitted to UK cars have the finned cover. None of them have LSD.
The UK market specs were governed by the Botnar regime at the time and many specifications are not in line with the expectations from other markets. This is leading to problems with UK specification parts - particularly disc rotors for example...

Steve you could allways fit a quiafe ATB. Well tested by some members on here with excellent results.
Nice road manners as well.

I'm Canadian, the finned backs only came on the '88 LSD here.
