VIN: HS30102220, Engine Serial Number: 165060, Matching Numbers
5-speed gearbox
Manufactured ~May 1972
Location, Sweden (near Gothenburg).
The car is stock except for 6-2-1 extractor header and Slot mag wheels.
History:
The car was import to Sweden from UK back in 1987. The seller in UK worked at a bank in Piccadilly Circus. All we know regarding the life in UK for this car. The car was painted in Sweden during the first year. In 1989 the second owner in Sweden bought the car. He is a friend of mine. He got inspired by my 260 2+2. He used the car during summer time until 1996. In 2000 a friend of mine and I bought the car with the intention to rebuild it into a historic circuit racing car. Then life just keep on happening and the car was just standing there, indoors with engine prepared for storage, year after year. So the car has not been used in between 1996-2018!
Early 2018 we decided to wake the car up from its deep sleep and start using it.
Actions done:
· New oil everywhere.
· New brake fluid.
· New pads and brake shoes
· Sprayed oil underneath.

MOT in Sweden 2018-07-12, approved at first attempt!
Milage at MOT, 81850
Milage right now, 81928
Owned it for 18 years and 4 months! Driven it for 18 minutes and 4 seconds ;-)
As you can see, life keeps on happening and there is not enough time to drive it!
We state the following less good things about the car to be completely transparent!
· Even though the MOT guy did not find any rust holes on it, we did during the cleaning and spraying of oil underneath. It’s the size of a coin and located in the flor behind the right door.
· A mouse liked the gear shift dust cover. Some holes there.
· Floor mats are falling apart!
· Some cracks on the driver’s seat.
· One of the front fenders has been welded (the horizontal part)
· The rear anti roll bar is missing! Don’t know where it is!
· Fuel tank has been welded. During installation of the fuel return hose the pipe soldered in the tank got loose. It’s still there but can now be rotated. The hose is installed but I suspect you can only fill the tank with some 20 litres. Above that it will start leaking.
· Badges are missing. See pictures.
Since the car origins from UK we would like the car to get back home, before Brexit!
We want to expose the car to The Z Club of Great Britain first to, hopefully, reach enthusiasts before car dealers.
Since these cars, and especially RHD cars, are scarce we are having some difficulties to estimate the value of the car. However we have seen number in the region of 10 000-20 000 gbp for cars that need some attention. Therefore suggest the following procedure:
Contact us using Jonny.thomsen@swipnet.se and mail us you suggested price. We can of course also provide more information and pictures if needed.
After a couple of weeks we will contact the highest bidder.
Kind Regards,
Jonny Thomsen
