Any recommendations, I've seen a few on ebay any help would be appreciated. Massive variationin pricing and some cut and weld which I don't fancy

They're all cut and weld, unless you want to spend more than twice that on the fancy all in one jobs from Techno Toy Tuning or Silvermine in the US. These are basically already welded to hubs, so you replace your entire hub as well as the old shock tubes.

Your best alternative is lowering springs plus adjustable shocks like Koni. But you can't set an exact ride height then. Also I've seen issues with cars ending up higher at the front.. although that will need more research as there could be a reason for that!

I am selling a full set of oem 280Z front and rear suspension, you can then buy a BC kit get them professionally welded (they slip in and weld holds it so plenty safe) and then just swap over and sell (or keep your old suspension) - saves a lot of faffing.
